Information:
James
has just finished his move into his new home.
Both James and Arlene run their businesses from
the Internet and the move caused an interruption
in their Internet service at home as they relocated.
Arlene went to the library with her laptop and
James went to an Internet café with his
laptop to get things organized. Arlene’s
business has been starting to grow since she
started to build it as part of the online boot
camp. Recently Arlene tracked down Jim Abrams
of the Charlie Foundation http://www.charliefoundation.org/
(which has as its mission to raise awareness
of the ketogenic diet as it relates to pediatric
epilepsy) for a podcast interview. The site
Arlene created has a member’s forum and
Arlene has also hired Elance writers along the
way so new content is being added continually.
James does the same thing for his site kitcarconnection.com
Hiring authors on Elance is not necessarily
an expensive prospect. James talks about Elance
and how simple it is to use the service. People
frequently don’t understand the process
and that often holds them back from posting
projects. The same way in which affiliate marketers
have a dream to work from home doing affiliate
marketing the Elance writers dream job is to
be able to write from home. You can create payment
conditions where the payment is based on acceptability
of the content for the project. James uses copyscape.com
to verify that the content he is receiving from
the authors is real. James talks about how he
manages his writers and his account at Elance.
James has created a tutorial for Elance and
it will be available on the updates page. James
talks about goals and keeping your goals in
front of you. James and Charles talk about some
of the “new” students to James’
online boot camp. James talks about how Elance
can benefit a site from the standpoint of content.
