James’
Super Boot Camp is finished with the 26th session
having come to a close in June. The students
have put together some great websites over the
26 week periods. James and Charles talk about
the sequence for the creation of websites and
the responsible development of a website. James
and Charles talk about the difference of approach
between the fast money approach and the solid
foundation approach to creating affiliate websites.
James talks about the pressures of creating
everything on schedule and the discipline required
to follow through and do things properly. Arlene
has hired a writer to add a page of content
three times a week. Arlene needs to get about
25 backlinks to rank a bit higher in the Google
results. The week by week approach has been
a good exercise to keep people on track which
is especially beneficial for people who are
just starting out to learn how to work consistently
on websites. Most of the students are very excited
about the launch of their websites and their
prospects going forward. Some of the students
are starting to see some good days on their
websites with little checks starting to come
into their accounts. James describes how the
sessions work in the online camp. James talks
about the support members offer each other in
the members forums of his website. Students
have the option to just watch the video training
sessions over the 26 weeks of the affiliate
marketers boot camp. It is possible to speed
up the training if they so choose but James
is a proponent of keeping a steady pace and
doing things one thing at a time and doing it
well before moving on. With the end of the session
James will have the time to get back into his
affiliate business and expand his kit car site.
Charles and James talk about the importance
of goals, writing things down and working on
the lists you create. James received a video
camera as a present from his students –
a flip video camera – which James plans
to use to help build content for his website.
