Information:
James is
back from a breakation in Montreal where he
was working with Charles in the Eastern Townships.
While he was there he ran a BootCamp session
- Step #6 - Add Keyword Focused Content from Charles’ home. James and Charles
talk about the upcoming contest for Buzz listeners
to
Win FREE Tuition to the 5-Week
Backlinks Workshop
– the cut-off for entry will be July 7
and the draw will be on July 8. James and Charles
discuss the task of sitting down and creating
content. Brainstorming is a technique which
James uses when approaching the creation of
content. Starting with the keywords what can
you discern
about the possible searches and
the searchers conducting the searches. Brainstorming
always starts with the obvious and the progresses
to more complex ideas and motivations. James
talks about a challenge
Kellie Fowler,
a copywriter James has been working with for
a few years, about a challenge she had on
a Friday as she was about to head home for the
weekend. The older approach of creating brochure
type articles for content no longer works. James
talks about Pubcon and the critique Matt Cutts
gave of a site at the last Pubcon of a website.
It is important to come up with an interesting
story to the surfer who arrives at your site.
James says you need at least 21 ideas to get
rolling. It is definitely time to start ramping
up for Christmas and to get keyed up for the
fall shopping season.
