Information: James and Charles talk about the launch of the original handbook and Affiliate Buzz 5 years ago. The industry has changed and grown radically over the last 5 years. James talks about how when they were starting to create the handbook Google wasn’t even a blip on the radar screen of Internet users. James talks about the major Google updates and how they can affect the affiliate marketing industry. The changes have helped to sort out the real affiliate marketers who are providing quality content from those who are not creating content valuable sites with their websites. James talks about Elance and the services he can purchase from Elance on a contract basis where he can post a project and contractors from all over the world bid on the project. James talks about the process he uses to post projects and hire writers and the process he expects from them to create and deliver the completed project to him. Using writers to create articles is only one part of the process for James who then takes the articles and applies the PAD technique. James talks about an email he received from a student who has been employing the PAD technique with success and exactly how she has been approaching employing PAD. James and Charles talk about the things which cause people not to want to pursue the PAD technique. Fear of rejection is the big one, being ignored is another. The benefits though are very quickly realized by websites which employ the technique. James then talks about the necessity to do a backlink check on your competitors and analyze what the links really mean. Charles talks about the detail which can be covered when doing an online course covering inbound links. “If you really believe that this is going to do it for you, you are going to work at it every single day.” Take the time to go through the Google Mastery Report to get yourself up to date with all of the details you need to know. The next workshop goes on July 17th, 2007.
